Murmansk Winter Expedition: Day #1

3.. 2.. 1.. Let’s start our winter adventure! Murmansk is waiting for us!

Off we go. This trip will be a bit similar to the trip to Nordkapp. We will use our experience of the last year, but due to the fact that it is Russia and not Scandinavia, it will be more difficult for us. In total, we do not know what to expect.

We have different equipment and another car. We are not going with SAAB 9-5NG but with Lada Niva 4×4. Hope for easy service and low costs in the event of a breakdown instead of comfort.

This is our first jump: from Warsaw to Jeleniewo, small city near the Lithuanian border. We have found a cozy place where you can sleep for little money in good conditions.

So we go to sleep, tomorrow we will cross two country borders.
